The Final Results of the 2022 SLO County General Election are in! To highlight a few key results:

The two candidates endorsed by Cambria Currents, Debra Scott and Michael Thomas have been elected to the CCSD Board! Debra came in first (39.95%), followed closely by Michael (37.22%). Our team has proudly supported these two candidates throughout their campaigns. We are excited to have fresh perspectives brought to the CCSD Board by two outstanding individuals who are truly accountable to the citizens of Cambria.

Issue G-22, the Cambria Community Healthcare District’s proposed measure to rebuild Cambria’s ambulance facility, did not pass. 67% of the votes were needed to secure the required bonds. A total of 61.31% voted in favor of the measure. It is the hope of many voters that the CCHD Board will present a more fiscally realistic proposal to garner more community support in the next election.
