Cambrians are once again faced with increases to our water and sewer rates, as well an inflationary increase. The good news is that we have an opportunity to stop this latest round of rate increases via Prop 218!

A public hearing regarding these increases will be held on May 19th at 1:00 pm at the Veterans Hall or you can view online.

Please note that unlike casting a “yes” or “no” vote in an election or choosing to not vote at all, Prop 218 MANDATES a “no” vote. Not voting at all counts as a “yes” to more rate increases.

IN ORDER TO OPPOSE THIS, you must send in your protest form marking all 3 increases to block them.

The form must be properly completed in order to be counted, so please fill them out carefully.

4,455 notices were mailed. There are 3,845 sewer connections and 1,923 must vote no to stop that increase. There are 3,949 water connections and 1,975 must vote no to stop a water increase.
