Indigenous Festival

Indigefest 2023 is here! Join us on December 12 at 5pm to immerse yourself in indigenous culture, take part in a deep healing Mayan Cacao Ceremony guided by Jose Ajpu Munoz (a Mayan Time Keeper), participate in a charity benefit silent auction, and share a potluck meal with the community.

You all have the opportunity to engage with elders from all walks of life and listen to them speak, disclosing subjects relevant to the past, present, and future of humanity.

Capacity is limited, so be sure to RSVP soon & receive the event location by contacting Darcy Cleome at [email protected].

Admission donations ($20 suggested), and proceeds from the silent auction will benefit Giving To Change, a California non-profit that develops, initiates and amplifies earth-based leadership, systems of reciprocity, wellness, aligned action, and creative, ecologically sound technologies.

Please bring any snacks, appetizers, or drinks you would like to share (no alcohol).

Be sure to wear layers to stay warm as some of our activities will be outdoors. We will begin with a Mayan Fire Ceremony if weather & venue allow.

The event will also be live-streamed on Cambria Currents Facebook

~

Indigifest is hosted by Christina Tobin of Cambria Currents, & Darcy Cleome Portlock in Cambria, CA at Hummingbird Manifestation Station #11.

Event Schedule

Act 1, 5:00PM:

Mayan Cacao Ceremony for the people by Jose Ajpu Munoz *a Mayan Time Keeper

Join us in sacred Space across the land and around the world to enjoy and remember how to properly cook, infuse and ceremonially serve and receive this ancient natural wonderful medicine Mother Earth provides for all of us.

Cacao is one of the most powerful, gentle facilitators, teachers and guides on the planet – and it is delicious too!  Our ancestors Ancient Mayans Incas  and Aztecs used Chocolate for Spiritual and Ceremonial purposes. In its purest form (unlike much of the chocolate available in the mainstream), it is a powerful assistant for ‘inner work’, creative guidance and so much more.

Act 2, 6:00PM:

Meet and listen to the elders.

Act 3, 7:00PM:

Engage with the elders, ask questions, and receive uncensored answers.
