This Thursday April 28 at 6:30 pm Cambria Center for The Arts will run a special one-night-only showing of Julia Blue, a film that follows the journey of a young student activist in Ukraine who develops an unlikely bond with a wounded soldier.
This showing will serve as an opportunity for the Cambria community to learn more about the country of Ukraine, and support the Ukrainian people.
The event will also feature a pre-recorded interview with the lead actor who is still in Kyiv. After the film, Cambria Center for the Arts will host a live Zoom call with the film’s director.
The showing itself is free with a reservation, donations are requested. All donations made to attend the event, including the purchase of wine or snacks at the reception, will go directly to Nova Ukraine. Those unable to attend are encouraged to make an online donation if desired.
