DESCRIPTION:January 27 – 29 The Cambria Chamber of Commerce will host the Cambria Art & Wine Festival: An event that celebrates our local artists & winemakers while giving visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in Cambrian culture. \nBeginning Friday morning (Jan. 27) the shopping\, raffle ticket opportunities\, wine tastings\, art demos & more will begin throughout town continuing through January 29. A special art show will take place at the Cambria Center for the Arts\, and the Kick-Off Party will be at the Vet’s Hall at 6:00 pm. \n  \nHere’s a summary of the events taking place each day from The Chamber site: \nFriday\, January 27th: \n\nKick-Off Party ticket holders only.\nSparkling wine and appetizers.\nElegant Meal with food and wine pairing and special raffle prizes (Limited tickets available starting August 1\, 2022)\nSilent Auction/Art Show\n\nSaturday\, January 28th: Doors open 10:00 AM \n\nVeterans’ Hall: Artists Faire and wine tasting. Demonstrating artists showing and selling their creations.\nCambria Center for the Arts: Art Show and Sip & Paint classes (tickets sold separately)\nPinedorado Grounds (weather permitting): Demonstrating artists representing all areas of life and kinds of art. Hands-on opportunities as well.\nThroughout the Village: Demonstrating artists\, wine tasting\, hands-on opportunities\, and opportunities to collect raffle tickets\nOpen Mic Night from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Moonstone Cellars. Listen to stories about transformation and emergence. Our theme is the Monarch because Cambria is on the Monarch migration trail. DESCRIPTION:This Thursday April 28 at 6:30 pm Cambria Center for The Arts will run a special one-night-only showing of Julia Blue\, a film that follows the journey of a young student activist in Ukraine who develops an unlikely bond with a wounded soldier. \n \nThis showing will serve as an opportunity for the Cambria community to learn more about the country of Ukraine\, and support the Ukrainian people. \nThe event will also feature a pre-recorded interview with the lead actor who is still in Kyiv. After the film\, Cambria Center for the Arts will host a live Zoom call with the film’s director. \nThe showing itself is free with a reservation\, donations are requested. All donations made to attend the event\, including the purchase of wine or snacks at the reception\, will go directly to Nova Ukraine.
